Noah Pajarito's gorgeous tufa cast sterling silver quail pendant is an easy to wear treasure. Tufa stone is a compressed volcanic ash material. It is easier to carve than sandstone but because it is softer, the cast created is a one off creating singular silver works. Noah embellished this gentle bird with an image of the Pueblo and a rain cloud element. A handsome turquoise cabochon has the prettiest matrix webbing. On the reverse we see more Indigenous-inspired designs, Noah's signature and the date. About 2 1/4" long including the lovely shepherd's hook bale and 2" wide.
